I have never really thought about doing a blog for the simple fact is I do not think I could really sit down and express myself freely without feeling a little silly. But here I am starting my first blog, mainly because of a class I'm taking, but I can see this might be more fun that I thought.
A little about myself. I just recently celebrated my 2 year anniversary with my wonderful husband. We met in Germany while he was stationed over there and I was working on the base. His son went to the daycare I worked for and the first time we met in public I remember calling him "Mr. Fitzpatrick" because he was a dad there. LOL I look back now and laugh at how funny I must of sound but we continued to see each other outside of the base and one thing lead to another and we were dating. We stayed in Germany for a year or so and then got moved to Edwards, CA. That place was in the middle of no where but it is special to us because we got married out there and a year and a half later we had our first child together. Our son is now 6 months and we love him to death and I enjoy each and every moment we have with him.
Well, if you haven't guessed my now my husband is in the military and recently he was given order to a remote tour, which means me and my son cannot go :( so me and him packed up and moved back to my hometown to be with family during this time. I am hoping the time does go by fast but I know my family is enjoying the time with their grandson.
We also have three very spoiled dogs. Two of them have been with us since Germany but the last one was a rescue dog we got from a not so stable person. They love each other so much and they are like furry children to us as well.
Well that is a little bit about me and my family. There will be more to come in the next 10 weeks but who knows I may enjoy this more than I think and continue.

ReplyDeleteI am in the same boat as you. I never gave writing or creating a blog a bit of a thought. I find it too much like keeping a diary, except that this is out here for the entire world to see. I do like the theme you have chosen for your site. I am hoping that after a few weeks this will get a lot easier. However, I am sure after this course is over I will never blog again in my life.
